This is my new pup, Harley. I got him November 26th as an early Christmas Present.
He was adopted from a shelter in NY, however is from TN (was there on the 18th of Nov according to his Rabies' tag) from a kill shelter down there. What the shelters up here do is go down there and pick up up to 100+ dogs a month and bring them to their no kill shelters and adopt them out here so they don't get put to sleep. Meaning, my little pooper was ready to be killed
He loves to play with all animals, just Teddy my Cat doesn't feel the same, and Brodie back home hates him due to the jealousy issue since Brodie is also my dog, and apparently I'm only allowed one dog in his mind!
Also, due to the sudden weather change, he wears sweaters since he shakes all the time unless he's wearing one.... I guess that's it.
Moral of the story: Support your shelters! Be it a no kill or kill shelter! Just because you don't like the fact that a shelter puts the animals to sleep after awhile, doesn't mean the animals there should suffer! They need homes too, just as badly if not more!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
